Melinda Isaacs, Administrative Representative

Melinda Isaacs serves as the Principal of Clay County High School (CCHS), located in Clay, WV. CCHS is a comprehensive school, serving approximately 620 students. The school offers career, technical programs, and non-degree postsecondary education classes.

Melinda previously worked at the WV Department of Education in the Office of Adult and Technical Education. While in this position, she served on the Board of Trustees of NCA, as well as various state and national committees to enhance the quality of education for career and technical students across West Virginia, as well as across the country. Her teaching experiences are all in the fields of adult and technical education, including ABE/GED courses, and business education and technology programs. Prior to her current position, Melinda worked as the Associate Vice President for Career, Technical, and Postsecondary Education for the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI). She remains active in postsecondary accreditation visits and serves as a team member. Melinda’s experience working with non-degree granting postsecondary Career Technical Education (CTE) provides her with solid experience to serve as the Vice Chair for the NCA CASI Board of Directors.

Mrs. Isaacs holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education from Glenville State College and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Marshall University. She currently serves her community through church, civic activities, and by serving as a board member on the Family Resources Network.
